Our story
keyTABS began with a simple, uncomfortable observation. An author spends months — often years — writing a book, usually earning nothing while they do it. Then comes the waiting: sending the work to publishers and waiting to be read, answered, chosen. When an answer comes, the share that comes back can be scraps — sometimes as little as 5%.
Selling direct through the big marketplaces looked like the way out. But it carries its own quiet danger: an author builds real success, and then, without warning, the account is locked and the income is gone overnight. The store was never theirs to begin with.
